Thanks Shaun…  You have obviously mastered their search engine. I’m still sucking my thumb.

I know there are a lot of errors in the WRC…, and on that page he’s down as being appointed QM on the 6th of May 1819.  But as you say, the Return seems to indicate that he had the post at Waterloo. 

I’ve checked out all the Returns and the Drum Major is not indicated.  Lol…, perhaps he'd been spending the day with the Camp Followers.
