Margaret Miller b. 1802 and died 1841 Darlington
« on: Friday 23 July 21 05:17 BST (UK) »
Looking for her baptism.  If he father was the Rev. Robert Miller, of Wesleyan Methodist connection, would there be a different OPR for them?

Looking at the 1841 census transcription below was her maiden name Miller when she married James?
The census indicates she was not born in County Durham?

James Miller married Margaret Pearson
3 Sep 1832 Richmond, Yorkshire.

If this is correct Margaret is unlikely to be the daughter of Rev. Robert Miller.

Unless she had been married before.

The marriage record on freeReg indicates that she was a spinster

Margaret Pearson baptised Richmond 13 February 1801 daughter of John Pearson, wool comber.

There is also a baptism in Hornby in 1802. Hornby is a few miles from Richmond.

I will try and locate a copy of that book.  Have a special interest in the Darlington area, although, it seems he only spent a short time there.  Any snippet of information on him to help with my research is terrific.  So tks for all the extra details.
