Have you considered comparing the signatures at marriage for Elizabeth.

Even though the burial is in the right area there is no proof without an age at death that you have the right person.
Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Elizabeth [a widow] appears to secondly marry by licence John NEWINGTON of Etchingham [a widower] at Battle 23 Apr 1793.

Have I correctly linked these people [that is Elizabeth ASHBY, Benjamin PAGE and John NEWINGTON]?

This may be supported if Benjamin's burial can be located between 1778 and 1793

You should look at the PCC will of John Ashby of Battle, Sussex
https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D622642

Dated 11 January 1797
Proved 10 November 1803

Names his daughter Elizabeth, wife of John Newington of Battle.
Granddaughter Elizabeth Page
