Completed Thanks
« on: Tuesday 27 July 21 11:36 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I realise this is a tall ask but can anyone enhance or decipher anything on this gravestone.
I've tried different filters etc but obviously a limit with the number of pixels.

I can read the Sarah Ashdown wife of. Any date or words that can confirm this is the stone I think it is. Obviously I will need to get to the churchyard and look at the stone but I'm not near it.

Maybe someone could date the stone by the style?
Any help would be gratefully received.

If you post the location of the gravestone SKS my be able to go to see it for you.....and maybe poston board of relevant county; maybe they can photograph it in oblique sun to highlight the letters. Where did you get the image from?

Above the name I see possibly 'Now in the Almighty....'  or 'Another world' ???, ,also she died in June

Thanks Josey

The fact that she died in June makes it the gravestone I was looking for. I know the date of death, burial etc but didn't want to share this to colour anyone's judgement!

Also worth trying the local Family History Society?

Somebody may have transcribed the MI's.
