Who did John exactly marry in MQ 1854 Ashton Under Lyme please. Any other details about the marriage would be a bonus.

Thanks

John

I can’t see him with that name and wondered if it was an error in transcription. The parish records aren’t online.
It looks as though they may be in Manchester archives

I will try to look at the marriage registers for Christ Church for you. I think our Locsl Studies Centre has them on film.

That’s great, Jon.

I checked Ashton archives online Heather and FS for Christ Church and was led to believe that they weren’t available - hence checking Manchester. ::)

I think I may have found Mary in 1841.  Father was James occ carder on the marriage cert and this entry seems to fit

HO107/577 book 25 folio 26 page 11

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MQLJ-KPB

If it’s the right entry - the youngest children have mmn Jones per GRO
