He's not on the Electoral Rolls in Cambs. where Ramsey is.
It's possible because of his job he might not have wanted
his name in the public domain.

Since 1928, it has been a legal requirement to register to vote.

The only people exempt are those who lack legal capacity such as prisoners.

Not having your name in the public domain is a more recent concept.

Possibly due to the fact that either all or some of the children could still be alive.  It depends on what years they were born.

When you put names on here you do need to make it clear that the named person(s) are dead.  Rootschat has a policy of no living people to prevent spamming etc.

Any information regarding living people has to be provided via the private message system.  :)

Thank you for that explanation I fully appreciate that. I wonder if the researcher could PM the details which were sent yesterday. I would really appreciate that. Thank you.

You will have to hope that whoever it was will contact you with that information.  Can you remember the Rootschat name of the person who gave you that?

https://www.freebmd.org.uk/

Shows the marriage of Martin J Blake and Ivy V Saunders in 1927, Hitchin. There are 3 births in Hitchin following this marriage which can be found by searching the site using the mother’s name too.

The marriage was posted yesterday and I posted after the one you refer to which is why I mentioned Ivy.

I've just checked using your info Heywood and I can see that the youngest child could still be alive.
