Arthur Lloyd Brace

Hi there,

Trying to find a couple of things on my biological grandfather.  Am trying to find if he fought at a particular battle during WW2 - Battle of Arnhem - it's not clear from his War records if he did (struggling to read good portions of it) but a newly found 1st cousin once removed (my grandfather's niece) said he was there.

Once my biological grandmother died in 1969 in London, he seems to have disappeared until I came across his death certificate (died in 1988 in London).  Are there any good ways of trying to track him down for that time period?

Oli

Electoral Registers are perhaps the only way to trace the recently living (i.e. within the last 100 years).

WW2 Service records are still with the MOD.
Ask on the WW2 section if you have questions.

Thanks for the reply.  Will see if I can somehow find him on the electoral roll though not sure how much I'll have as we don't know where he went after 1969.
