Final Resting Place of Benjamin Swinhoe (1890 - 1981)

My Great Uncle on my mam's side of the family Benjamin Swinhoe died on the 16th October 1981 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Would be more than grateful if anyone could provide information on who I could contact  to obtain information on the cemetery & plot where Benjamin is laid to rest.

The Royal BC Museum have the Registration of Death, it includes the fact that he was cremated and where, and the funeral directors name,

The son of Hannah Isabella Elliott Swinhoe and Thomas Walton Bulmer Dodds.  Hannah and Thomas married 26 Sep 1927 - St Peter's Monkwearmouth, Co Durham)

Would just like to say thanks very much Sandra and Daisy for the information regarding Benjamin. The David Dodds in the newspaper is the same person the son of Thomas and Hannah. I have met David on a number of occasions and I do know he kept in touch with Benjamin up until the time of Benjamin's death.
