Definitely Maiden Stone - but I don't think the dock warehouses were that early ?   I will check now

ADDED
Well that surprised me
started in 1715 - and completed over 165 years in 1841 - of course that is stretching from Seaforth down to Brunswick Dock - 8 miles - but a great many warehouses as you can imagine - and then houses towards the waterfront to house the Dockers /Carters /and Mariners - A LOT of buildings  :)

A LOT of buildings  :)

A lot of slate. From Cumberland and Wales by sea or canal?
Some of my ancestors lived in a small coastal town in Lancashire. It was redeveloped 200 years ago. Thatched cottages in the main street were demolished, along with my people's inn to which they were attached. 2 cottages were leased with the inn; one was home of innkeepers' widows. My family relocated to the bright lights of Preston and Manchester. (Preston streets had gas lamps.) Meanwhile my stonemason ancestor also moved to Preston from a village. One house in Preston in which my innkeeper's family lived is still there.

So is there a possibility that BT's may not cover all marriages/births, etc.?

I can see now that an Order was made in 1598 to send a copy of all parish register entries made in the previous year to the bishop.

Posting death inscription found on line for Jane Bell death 1715.  It would seem the BT's and Old Parish Records differ in year of birth.  Annoying.  But definitely says "dau Thos Kings St Slatr."

Ralph Bell bapt. 12 September 1708 - seemed to be at St Nicholas, Liverpool.  Just seems to be the odd one out - as the others were baptised at St Peter Church.  I've tried to find the original OPR or Bishop transcript to confirm whether his father was Thomas "plastyer".
I would then be looking for an earlier marriage.    :-\

I looked at the website and wrote to them.  Answer almost immediately with three pages of how I go about getting some more details of bdm.  If you're 4 miles away - is it possible for you to visit and check for an earlier marriage? (as you possibly suggested)   A big ask, but keen to get this sorted.  At least we do know that the other three children belong to Thomas.   :)

The 1713 marriage was by licence. The licence is available to view on FindMyPast, you need to look under the category of Cheshire Marriage Licences and allegations.
