Doctors Handwriting so very challenging!
« on: Friday 30 July 21 06:20 BST (UK) »
Dear clever decipherers -

I am researching the sad life of Annie Marie Louise Loridan (married name Clarkson). her mother's family seems to have had mental health issues running through the females, and Annie was placed in a mental institution from 1908 (shorter periods before) - apparently until her death in 1944 for " drunkenness and neglect of household duties" - the reason her husband divorced her.

I have recieved 2 partial pages of the Goodna Case book - the writing is a challenge.
any help would be much appreciated!

Unless I am doing something wrong, when I zoom in, they are just a blur.

Could you post clearer images please.   :)

The problem is that the file is only 8Kb in size.  You can't have sufficient resolution at readable size with such a tiny file.

For instructions on how to create a readable image, see Reply #5 here:

If you use the instructions in my previous post then there won't be a problem saving the snip as .JPG or .JPEG.

Our OP likely has this, but some background....
Annie died in Queensland.
The Qld bdm reference is 1945/C/1071

Likely there's a Queensland Probate file as there is definitely a England & Wales partial Probate listed on the National Probate Calendar there.

CLARKSON, Annie Louise Marie Loridan, of Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, widow, died 19 December 1944, Administration (limited) 5 May 1945, £1443 18s 9d in England ...

How much can you read of it?

There's a full physical description of Annie, and then it continues with how and why she was committed.
