What does AB mean in this transcript?

Hi folks.

Found this in Chester-le-Street Bishops' Transcripts Baptism records for 1765 (page 4). Can anyone tell me what AB means in this entry?

Others more knowledgable may be of more help, but according to familysearch, AB is short for "Appeal against bastardy "

I notice a few other entries for Thomas CURRY and Catherine WYLAM around the same time, and a burial for Catherine WYLAM of Hillhead in 1773, some of the baptisms for the couple had their abode as Hillhead, so I assume this burial is for the mother. So I guess not married if using her maiden surname?
