My great grandfather henry john brown emigrated from beverley England to winnipeg circa 1890s
he was born in Hull in 1861
Can anyone help me find details of his emigration please?
Apparently he only lasted a couple o years and then returned to England.
I have tried to trace any details of his emigration but cannot find anything.

Canadian Passenger List - Henry Brown - 1862 - aged 30 years - labourer.
Departure Ports Liverpool, England; Londonderry, Ireland
Arrival Date 13 Aug 1892 Quebec, Canada - Vessel  Sardinian.

Age slightly out but that is not unusual. The early passenger lists do not give a person in the old country or a contact in Canada, so it can be difficult with a common name like Brown to be certain it is the correct person.
