Was Harrington her maiden name?
You could try searching for marriage/death records here
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/irish-records-what-is-available/civil-records

I am wondering about a time line for these people.

There is birth here in 1913 for Ellen O’Connor. Her mother was Ellen Foote. Is this your family?

Hi Heywood it's a good possibility her Maiden name was Harrington!  I know my auntie Mary married David Harrington so I will dig a bit further.
I may have found Ellens birth before but don't have a record of it but not 100% on that one so thank you,
I believe young Helen died young maybe 1932 and buried with her father and other members of the family in tracton.

I have a photo of my Grandma taken in the late 1930s early 1940s wearing a similar style dress. This lady appears to be wearing a wedding ring and I would say that she was in her 40s. Is there anything on the back of the photo? If you have a photo of your Grandma to compare, there may be a Family resemblance.

You could send it to a Local newspaper in Cork asking for information.

I thought that too,  or even a local history Facebook group perhaps. I suppose if the lady was only a visitor though it may be a difficult task.
