THOMAS ROWE SUCCUMBS
TO HEART ATTACK TODAY Thomas Rowe, 45, a resident of Lead for many years, succumbed to a heart attack at his home this morning shortly before 9 o'clock. Mr. Rowe had been in doubtful health for the last several years, but his death nevertheless came unexpectedly. He was ailing yesterday and remained at home, but he was at work the day before. He has been an employee of the Homestake Mining company for the last 25 years, since he has lived in Lead. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Thomas, Jr., 19, and John, 12, and a daughter, Margaret, 16. In addition, he leaves his mother in England, and sisters and brothers living in England and Australia. Mr. Rowe was a member of the local Masonic lodge. Arrangements for the funeral services have not yet been made, but are to be announced Monday. Mr. Rowe's passing is a grevious loss to his innumerable friends in this part of the Black Hills. Known as a splendid type of citizen, his death Is a severe shock and his loss is deeply regretted by all who knew him.

ROWE-WEBER
Mrs. Anna Rowe and Zay J. Weber, a well-known Lead couple, were married at the Presbyterian manse in Sturgis, Saturday afternoon, June 1, by the Rev. Carroll D. Erskine. The attending witnesses were Mrs. Rowe's two sons, Thomas and John. Following the ceremony, the couple left for Hot Springs to spend a short honeymoon, returning to Lead Monday evening. They will establish housekeeping at the home of the bridegroom, 302 White street.
