That was my thinking but it's up elsewhere as someone who was dead by 1849.  The mount had a photographer's stamp from Salt Lake City which would rule it out anyway but I just wanted to check all possibilities.  It is a lovely photo and I wish it was the person it's supposed to be but it's obviously not.  Thank you.

The photographer would not be Charles Cusworth by any chance would it, he was in Salt Lake City in the Edwardian era.
