From the entry, I would think that perhaps he was living at Biggs Main, Longbenton.  Or it could mean something else, such as he was brought from the home of a relative.
I have no idea why he was buried at All Saints - there were closer places that he could have been buried in.  I wonder if he had some connection to the Newcastle All saints (Jesmond) area?

I just found now that the sister to the wife of John McLane, Bridget Dean was also buried in All Saints in 1884.
Thanks again, this has tied it up nicely! I will keep looking to see if there are other family members buried there.
