Exporting Direct Ancestors from a Gedcom file

My family tree on MyHeriage is getting too diverse and I would like to produce a Gedcom file of only my direct ancestors. I will then import back into MyHeritage and investigate my discoveries further. Any ideas on how to do this?
My MyHeritage subscription expires at the end of the month and I am anxious to get as much new information as possible.

Found on Gramps the option to export my ancestors only.

Don't forget to save any images to your local machine, as you are likely to lose access to them when your sub expires.
