Hi there,
Apologies I haven't replied yet. Just going through all the info. Yes alot of it's very helpful. I wasn't aware he had a daughter Alice who died very early on. Also wargraves info very helpful. I did have some facts about his service record but its refreshed things for me.
A guy Allan kindly found me an image of Alfred in Birkenhead news.
I havent been able to locate any other images. My family seem to have no pictures or drawings of him.
Anyhow thanks to yourself and everyone for all your help. Much appreciated. Karen
