Benjamin REID, Royal Irish Rifles.
« on: Monday 09 August 21 21:36 BST (UK) »
BENJAMIN REID died at 63 Broom Street, Woodvale Road on 9 Nov. 1919. Aged 27, he had served with the Royal Irish Rifles. His father was Robert Reid and his wife was Annie Reid, nee Charleton; they were married in Castleton Presbyterian Church on 20 Nov 1914. Annie was from Whitehouse.
Benjamin was a member of North Belfast Prize Brass Band; death notice asked members to attend his funeral but didn't say where!
Does anyone know where Benjamin Reid is buried?

Which paper? A different edition of it might say where to. Not all editions are necessarily digitised, but may be available on microfilm at Linenhall Library.

Castleton Presbyterian Church later amalgamated and became Alexandra Presbyterian Church.

All the Belfast papers have been checked via the Central Library. That's the only death notice found.
