The marriage between a John Jones and Ann Barnard was registered in Carmarthen 1866, but I have not been able to trace them with any degree of certainty subsequently, nor link them to a Griffith.

The marriage took place on 15 April 1866 at Llangunnor, Carmarthenshire

John Jones 29 - a Mariner From Carmarthan with father John Jones a Master Mariner
Ann Barnard 28 from Pensarn - Father David Barnard Labourer

Kay

Children that appear to come from this marriage:
John (June qtr 1867) Carmarthen
William (June qtr 1872) Carmarthen
Mary Ann (June qtr 1875) Carmarthen

Wow, it’s muddle search is it?

You are prob right it’s odd from cutter to vicar and you found birthdate for the vicar is not right o my Griffiths. Ok, scratch the find a grave bit.

Sorry, Elizabeth was baptised in April 1881.

So the 1939 you found, shows birthdate was October 1881.

The death you found for Elizabeth in bournemouth.....he, possibly, possibly.

Mystery continues xx
