Electoral roll Langley Park.
« on: Thursday 12 August 21 19:31 BST (UK) »
Hi folk's,been looking at Familysearch images for electoral register tracking family mainly in
Chester le street. There seems to be every town and village covered but for the life of me I can't
find Langley Park  home to my wife's family,I would have assumed connected to Lanchester ward
but doesn't seem to be,any thought's and advice would be appreciated particularly the 1914 roll
as her Gt Grandfather stated as his residence on enlistment in the Great war.
Regards Steve.

That link should take you to the first page for Langley Park 1914 in the Find My Past database

Its in alphabetical order, so if you know the name it should be easy to find by paging through.

Hi Boo sorry for the delayed post just back from a weekend down the coast,George Rose was
my wife's Gt Grandfather,I knew well James (his son, my wife's grandfather) in his later years
james was born in 1910 but could not remember his father as he was re-called to the army in
1914 to the Northumberland Fusiliers wounded in France then to India with the 2nd Garrison
battalion NF where he died in 1916.On soldiers died his residence place was recorded as Langley
Park but he does not appear on the village war memorial.
Regards Steve.
