London Gazette Supplement
« on: Saturday 14 August 21 07:44 BST (UK) »
I was Googling for a Polish name and luckily it turned up in the London Gazette Supplement.1965. Lots of other people from overseas had names, occupation and adress given. What was the reason for this.

Check what heading the names were listed under.
You may need to go back a page or so?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Did you see the name on a pdf version? If so, now you know the date of publication go to the Gazette's website https://www.thegazette.co.uk/ and do the search again. This will give you the ability to read through the preceding pages to find out what the list was all about.

28 September 1965. Page 9091.
I can't find it, could it be because it's a Supplement.

I only came to the Gazette PDF page by Googling the name,  not by searching the Gazette itself.
