Address search

Hi all,
Is it possible to search the UK Census for a specific address on Ancestry? I've forgotten.
I'm specifically looking for entries for 75 Huddersfield Road, Stalybridge, Cheshire from 1871, 81, 91, 1901 &/or 1911 Censuses.

You need to go to individual census dataset searches at the very least.

Familysearch may be quicker, easier and faster. Even if you don't see the images

House numbers may not be present in  earlier censuses. navigate by pubs etc.

Do you have any names?
I just looked at 1911 and 1901 by trial and error and if I am looking in the right area, the houses go from 71 to 83  :-\

If you look for Joseph Jackson at 1901 3796 / 68/8  you can check if that is the right area.

1901 - RG13/3796 folio 68, page 8 - BUT there is no No: 75 Huddersfield Road - No: 71 and then No: 83.

I can't see No: 75 in 1911 either.

1891 shows 3 - 31, Howard’s Buildings between 71 and 83 Huddersfield road.

In 1901, Howard’s Buildings begins after 83 Huddersfield Road

I think there is a 'Friendship Yard' as well looking at an 1874 map.

The census has Friendship Yard but I don’t think it is near the address you are searching. Possibly the other side of Howard’s Buildings?
