The 1939 - Column 5? Completed thanks

S'pose I should know this but I don't. Can somebody explain the meaning of O, V, S, P or I in the 5th column of the 1939 returns means, please?

I don't think the column is generally completed but I have somebody in a sanitorium and the majority are "P" - who I assume are patients  - and those who I assume are staff seem to be "N" (??!!), "S", "O", or "V". There are numumerous, so called, "Mental Defectives" in the next property, a mental home marked "I" so I assume that mens "Imbicile".

I would be guessing but if staff then N could be Nurse, S could be Sister, O could be Orderly, V could be vaccinated.  I could be Inmates.

Look forward to finding out the proper meanings.

P – Patient
I – Inmate

Thanks for that. Nurse seems logical but still open to speculation.
