Sadly link offer appears to have been withdrawn and has been replaced with a different and much pricier one (£104 for six months worldwide)

That is NOT true and misleading.   As of yesterday and Monday people were reporting this offer was still valid.

Some times it takes a couple of attempts to get the correct link.  Make sure your subscription has elapsed. Open two screens, log into ancestry as a guest and on the other tab click the link for this offer.

Good Luck everyone.

Sandra is CORRECT - the offer is still there on that link it may just take a little perseverance to get there.

Delighted you got the link to work - thank you everyone for the updates, it is reassuring for others who are trying.

There are a few different threads on the same subject :-

Is there any way to prevent my current sub auto renewing, so that I can take advantage of the lower price offer? On FindMyPast you just tick a box.
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

On ancestry you have to go through the rigmarole of cancelling your subscriptions before it auto renews (they say 2 days before but I've heard of some still being charged after leaving it that late).
Under your name click on account settings and then select cancel membership and go through the different options as they try to persuade you to stay.

Added - no matter when you cancel your membership will run until the end of the period you have paid for.
