What campaign did he fight , if he ever did?
What was his conduct like?

Served in Gibraltar, Natal & Mauritius
Character on discharge is given as 'Good'

This could be the chap I'm looking for, father's name is correct. Address not so sure, yes he was from Merthyr but not come across that address yet. More digging to do!!
