Military Medal award help please ?

Researching Pte 57642 Joseph Fearnley
He joined 18th King's
Then was Transferred to 25th King's
He was awarded the Military Medal but we don't know why or with which Btn
One says 18th and the 25th

Found this which doesn't say when it was in London Gazette



Can anyone throw any light on it please?

Gazetted 26/8/1919.
25th. Btn.
May 1919 they were in Egypt attempting to put down the rebellion.

I think he was transferred 28/3/19.
The diary says 4 Officers & 100 OR's arrived from 18/KLR as reinforcements.
