Looking for any info for two releitves Millisle/Donaghadee
« on: Monday 30 August 21 01:32 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out information on what happened to two reletives of my. First my x3 great grandaunt, Margaret (Maggie) Brown. She was born in Killaughey, Millisle to Hugh Brown and Agnes Wallace in 1872 but the last record I can find for her is in the 1911 Irish Census for Killaghey which says she is  and single and was living with her family: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Down/Donaghadee_Rural/Killaghy/264397/

I can't find a record of her after this, if she married or remained single or when and where she died

I am also looking for a 2nd cousin x3 removed, Proctor Taylor. The only record I have is a 1911 Census record for Ballywilliam that says he is 3: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Down/Donaghadee_Rural/Ballywilliam/264294/   I cannot find a birth record for a Proctor Taylor or any other record of him besides this Census record. Can anyone help?

Have a look at the original household return.  It is 'Victor', not 'Proctor'.

Thanks, should have done that. Makes sense, I know about Victor Taylor and what happened to him so that clears that up.

Irish Genealogy only has deaths & marriages for Northern Ireland counties up to 1921. You can search GRONI's database for deaths more than 50 years old & marriages over 75 years old.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thnaks but I know about those and have searched those and haven't found anything so far. I did search PRONI Will Calenders and came across this, it may be her if she never married. I don't know yet:

"Brown Margaret of 53 High Street Donaghadee county Down spinster died 1 December 1936 Probate Belfast 18 March to Rose Wilson married woman. Effects £30."
