Fantastic!!! Thanks so much, my 5x great grandmother's name has been sitting in front of me the whole time. ;D I thought she was a separate entry because of the line under her name. Like they say the answer is right under our noses. The same name's should have got my attention. Hopefully I can find Maren Altenburg's husband in the maze and add another branch to the tree. this is getting exciting. Regards Christian ;D

Hi Ian, Your research skills are invaluable ;D It look's like Ane's Father's name was Karl Heinrich Altenburg? a definite German name. Unfortunately his occupation escaped my lowly deciphering skills. ??? Regards Christian. :D

After having a bit of a break, to finalise and submit my application (which was successful.) to establish a Headstone for John otto Steen & Theodor Waldemar Holm. And with a big thank's to you guy's at Roots Chat for making it possible. ;D I am back. This time I am looking to find the parents of Niels Hansen Holm,(my 4x Greatgrandfather) Niels was born in Kobenhavn? around 1741-1743 depending on which census you look at.(1787 or 1801) His occupation was a Braendeviins Braender (Schnapps distiller) He was apparently married twice. I know Marie Olsen, born 1757? was one wife, they were the parents of my 3x great grandfather, Adolph Andreas Holm. I have no idea about his other wife? I have struggled a bit trying to find Niels Parents, as there seems to be so many people called Niels Hansen Holm ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm a bit lost. Regard's Christian. :D
