Occupation name

I was wondering what occupation this is. In previous censuses he was a Brassfounder/finisher, but it doesn't look like that.

They are usually described as gas meter index makers or words to that effect. There 30 or 40 of them in the 1901 and 1911 censuses.

Thank you, his son worked as a Clockmaker at the old Edinburgh Gas Works at that time, the gas works, of course, were out of use by then.

Could it be Mold (Mole as it looks on the certificate) and Meter Maker?
