Cant Find Birth Details

So going back to my info, how do I get a birth certificate info?

This was my mum's mum.....

D:8 December 1943 13, Plymouth, Road, Totnes, Devon, England

On her Lena's birth certificate it shows Selina Hatherley as mum but no dad.

baptism 16 March 1913 Paignton St John, Edward son of Selina Hatherley 13 Norton Tce, Paignton. Same date as Maurice George son of William, butcher, & Alice Maud Mary Nute of the same address.

Edward's date of birth is recorded as 6 March 1913 on the baptism. Date of birth on death reg in 1991 is recorded as 6 March 1911.

If you're going with her place of birth as Brixham, then Selina is the daughter of William & Selina. Her date of birth is given as 7 Oct 1884 on her school admission in Brixham. Her mother Selina was buried  12 Oct 1884 age 38 address Lower Brixham.

Same address as the baptism for Edward?

You could search the 1939 register for a Selina in Paignton with her exact date of birth.

Look on the 1939 register under Pearse - not Pearce

A Selina J Haverthley married a Charles Humphries in June Quarter 1982

and would have died as Selina Humphries

Selina was b around 1882/1884 so can't  be the 1982 marriage
