Hi,

Sandra posted information about Adams' death from the Windsor paper.   I checked the Toronto paper to see if any relatives were mentioned...just his wife, son A in the armed forces overseas, daughter D in the CWAC at Kingston and B at home.

Mary and Stanley had one daughter Jennie living in Toronto when her son William Bond was born in 1954.

Just interesting that they all seemed to be in the Toronto area and wondered if Andrew or Adams obits would give any clues and mention Mary.

Sandra

Yes, Jennie is my grandmother, so I know all about her.  She didn't know what happened to her mother.  She left when Jennie was very young and Jennie lived with her paternal grandparents.

Perhaps try and locate the divorce certificate. It  might pin point the address where Mary was at that time ?  Central Registry of Divorce Proceedings. Archives of Ontario - details on the bottom of this link.
