Hello,
I am searching for a place/ farm called Unlock in the vicinity of Urquhart, Moray. It was listed as the birthplace of 2 of my ancestors James & George Sharp 1748 & 1750. :)

I've had a look at the original image and the place is UNLOCH.

I wonder if they lived by a loch in Urquart?  I'm not familiar with Scotland so I don't know if that is likely for Urquart.

William, you may receive more focused and localised help if you include the placename in the topic title and ask a moderator to move it to the Morayshire board. The title "Research help" is vague and general.
