Thanks, horsleydown86, that makes sense - I read Indre but it was an abbreviation I wasn't familiar with. I've learnt something new today!

Here's the whole settlement document transliterated for you, so you have a clean copy:

Paul Ackery - 2 Nottingham Place
Pearson St[reet]

Saith that he is about 29 years of age and that on 27 July 1820 he bound himself as an apprentice by Ind[entu]re to W[illia]m Day of Wood St[reet], Cromer St[reet] in the Parish of St. Pancras Middlesex cooper for 7 y[ea]rs and by virtue of such bonding he  been with and served his s[ai]d master there the whole of that term and he hath not since gained any other settlement.
Hath a wife named Mary Hunt to whom he was married in Christchurch Newgate St[reet] London 16 Aug[us]t 1828 and by her hath 3 children lawful issue namely John aged 5 years, W[illia]m 3 y[ea]rs and a female not baptized aged 9 days."
