do save harmless

possibly the said Official (it's rather faint, but that phrase occurred higher up)

by Reason of the Premises
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Hi, LadyJane,

Here's the last snippet transliterated for you:

"do save harmless the said William his Surrogates and other his Officers whatsoever by Reason of the Premises Then this Obligation to be void or else to remain in full force and virtue."

Thank you all so much! I still have couple of  words I'm at a loss with.  :)

above bounden William Parker …………?so said himself?  ..…his surrogates and all other his officers whatsoever by reason? of the ……?…. Then this obligation to  be void or else to remain in full force and virtue

Sorry, I can't agree. It is surely the church official who is being 'saved harmless' (= indemnified), not William. I agree with arthurk (above) that the handwritten word is almost certainly Official.

Now that I have manipulated the image to darken the faint word and also now seeing it in daylight, yes, I agree the word is "Official".
