Medal Card WW 1 - help please
« on: Tuesday 14 September 21 14:22 BST (UK) »
John Aspinall - King's Liverpool Regt
His Family believe his Medal Card is 332011 transferred to 43809
This Soldier was apparently originally in the King's but was Transferred to ?
Can't make out where to ?
There are no Service Medal Cards under either number any ideas why ?

You can download his medal index card from TNA: https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D1072791

The Notts & Derbyshire Regiment medal roll has his number as 73809:  https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/5119/images/41629_636897_11062-0016

Brilliant ShaunJ found the Service Medal Card now as you said under 73809
It now helps prove that he Family had the wrong Medal Card as they were so proud he was in 13th King's Only
The Medal Cards they should have found are for 20537
Cheers for helping clarify it.
