1600s indenture
« on: Tuesday 14 September 21 15:10 BST (UK) »
I'm transcribing a long indenture from the 1620s and have come across some words which are baffling me.

In the first image, it's just the word beginning with a d: ...Mesuages and ?? Lands Tenements...

In the next one, there are two long words I'm not sure of:

...and fifty yeares yett to come for and under the rents ??vinants?
and ??ents specified and contained in the originall Lease..

Finally, the word after (and almost joined onto) 'enjoyed'
and then the word before 'And', which looks like letton. Is it letton? What does letton mean?

..belonging & therewithall now Usuallie had occupied or
enjoyededemised? or to farm letton? And alsoe all those his lands...

Another pair of eyes on these would be great!  :)

The first one I think is '... messuages and diverse Lands Tenements....'

For this one I suggest:

...occupied or
EnJoyede demised or to farm letten...

ADDED:

Sorry, I just read the OP and see Bogie has this already.

As said earlier, it's letten.  It's a variation of the legal term farm let.
