I’ve heard of Ed Balls and Judi Dench. I have no particular wish to ever hear about the rest.

“Celebrity” - a person who is famous for being famous!

Your loss!
Some of the better episodes of WDYTYA have been of people I hadn't heard of.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

I hope that "they" go a bit further / deeper into the history of the3 ancestors than often seems to have been the case in recent series, where many seem only to have explored parents parents, and possibly a generation further back. After all, most of us on here have probably delved well back into 1600s.

Crikey - I'm obviously not trying hard enough!  Of my 4 major surnames, I can only trace one of them with any certainty back to 1600's.  With the others I'm lucky to get back to the mid/late 1700's.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.

Know all of them!
Can't wait.

For those in any doubt:
Ed Balls - former Labour politician & Minister; Strictly Come Dancing Star(?!)
Dame Judi Dench - is there anyone who hasn't heard if her?
Pixie Lott - Singer/Songwriter
Joe Lycett - Comedian and host of Sewing Bee
Alex Scott - Former female footballer (Arsenal & 140 appearances for England); former Strictly contestant; now presents Football Focus
Joe Sugg - YouTuber; former Strictly Runner-Up
Josh Widdicombe - Comedian and co-presenter of The Last Leg, former Taskmaster winner

Me too,it's the first time I've heard of all of them!
