Firstly, hit the report to moderator button and ask for your post to be moved to the Antrim board.

The 1923 marriage is indexed under Stuart rather than Stewart.

For a small charge, you can purchase and view a transcript on GRONI website.

https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/search/marriage

M/1923/B1/2325/16/24   Alexander   Stuart   Gray   5th December 1923   Belfast

which should give his address at time of marriage as well as name and occupation of his father (and her father). Then,  post the details here and we can help you work backwards.

""People who never look backward to their ancestors will never look forward to posterity." - Edmund Burke

It is there, so likely input error, surname in first box is required? Presume you lodged the 50p to search the indexes (best leave there for future) & to view each image - the Full option - is £2.50 each.

The 1923 marriage information has already been posted in the other thread.

As per previous post about the duplicate thread (reply #3):

Gaffy, I saw that but assumed Dean wanted to see the image himself rather than your transcription of it, I would if were my direct line. His post above was from today whereas yours was yesterday in the other thread, though see no subsequent comment from him there yet.

Hello gaffy, kloumann and aghadowey, thank you as so much for all of your hard work and the fascinating information you all sent me,the only thing I cannot work out is,what happened to my great grandad Alexander,he is listed as dying, aged 11,then does not seem to show up on any more sensus, yet married Margaret Gray in 1923
