Burial and Death Date of Adopted Relative

An Ozzy daughter of an adopted third cousin that I had help connect to an Uncle recently told me her father had passed from a heart attack. A few days ago she updated details on her tree for him, and being a mutual manager geni.com told me. Problem is the burial place have no record of it and no date was cited. Place of death cited was a well known NZ walking track. As he was only born in 1960 and I believe there were other children, so despite being dead, I am reluctant to post  his name. So. If you feel you are good at tracking down burial sites please PM me for his birth and adopted names.

Possibly a cremation? Not all cemetery websites show these.

Can you provide the area where the burial may have taken place?
