Burntwick Island Kent 1895-1910

Can anyone help out identifying the unit(s) stationed at South Boom Battery , Burntwick Island in the River Medway 1895- 1910? Thanks Pete

The 1901 census lists 3 soldiers at Burntwick Barracks: Arthur Elwin from Norwich, Henry Wells from New York and Charles Horton from Ashford in Kent, all Royal Artillery.
