He most probably changed his name, so Barnes may not at all resemble a Finnish/Swedish name. I do know that many Finns and Swedes who moved to Australia were seaman and had jumped ship and in doing so changed their name so as not to get arrested.

To Everyone out there that helped to find Henry and Elsie I applied for the death certifiactes and they are the right ones, never though they went to another state.
I would like to thankyou you all out there for helping me I am truly
grateful and fully appreciated what you have done  for me.
