Heywood- you are amazing!
I did not have an Elizabeth for this generation.
I do have an Elizabeth as a daughter for Patrick Cairney and Jane Mitchell who was born in 1893

Son Patrick's RC baptism in Edinburgh in 1862:

Patrick KEARNEY
Parents THOMAS KEARNEY/MARGARET LYLE
b. 24/11/1862
bpt. 0/12/1862
Edinburgh, St John's Portobello

Other baptisms:

Mary Ann CAIRNEY
Parents THOMAS CAIRNEY/MARGARET LILLE
b. 2/8/1868
bpt. 25/8/1868
Kilmarnock, St Joseph's

Thomas CAIRNEY
Parents THOMAS CAIRNEY/MARGARET JANE LISLE
b. 22/7/1872
bpt. 4/8/1872
Kilmarnock, St Joseph's

I think this might be another with Margaret's surname misindexed?

James CAIRNEY
Parents THOMAS CAIRNEY/MARGARET RYLE
b. 20/2/1876
bpt. 28/3/1876
Kilmarnock, St Joseph's

The youngest Catherine on the 1881 census, who shows as aged 1 in 1881, looks to have married a George McLean. She married in Scotland and then headed off to Canada and then moved to the States to settle there with her family. She mentioned 4 daughters in her US Naturalization papers in 1919.

These are the McLeans in Canada for 1911 www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QV94-TSX1

You will find records for the family in both Canada and the US on www.familysearch.org which can be accessed for free or through subs to sites like Ancestry.
