John Bilham - Occupation?
« on: Saturday 25 September 21 09:11 BST (UK) »
This is a 1841 census, Banham, Norfolk  HO107/775 Book: 1/  27 p 16

At a baptism in 1835, John Bilham's occupation is "Butcher". He dies in 1850.
In 1841, his occupation is ... unclear to me.

The first letter is a 'K', I've compared it with a "Kemp" else where in the census, and the match is good.

So he's a "Kidell". Hmm, maybe not?

Banham is a rural village, mainly farmers, ag labs and shoemakers.

A dealer in young goats and skins.
Fits the letters, and sits well with his prior trade of butcher.

Thank you.
