The 1908 one is a good find Neale. Age is 9 years out. Maybe a Typo. Should be 76, not 67.

The post states “Ann Miller born 18 Nov 1832 Bannockburn”, the 1881 notes Stirling but from the date above this may be the baptism, as already posted, I guess it depends where the information above came from?

MILLER   ANN   ALEXANDER MILLER/ELIZABETH SHAW    18/11/1832   Kilsyth

Siblings Janet 15/05/1831, Margaret 8/03/1835 – no others on SP in Kilsyth

The post states “Ann Miller born 18 Nov 1832 Bannockburn”

Possibly because it is the only Ann Miller that shows up in the OPR.

I do not see the Miller family in Kilsyth 1841/1851 I think the census returns posted by Neatle may be correct, the family moved to St Ninians.

You may be correct but the date on the original post is compelling, I guess we need a response from aar0nn.

I think the correct parents may be Alexander Millar and Ann Steven - married 1822 Stirling.
