WRAF at Newbold Revel1942 & Leighton Buzzard 1944

Hi,
Can anything be discerned as to what this lady did during WW2 from her comment and photo captions as below?
The photos are not mine so I have only given the captions.

"Served in the W.R.A.F (WOMEN'S ROYAL AIR FORCE) from 1939 TO 1945"

She would've served with the WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force). The WRAF disbanded shortly after WW1, and the WAAF was formed in Sept 1939. In 1949 it was re-branded the WRAF again.

She may have been involved with (covert) communications work, based on the photo captions. Some women in the WAAF were involved in telephony, telegraphy and the interception of codes and ciphers, including at the Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park.

RAF Newbold Revel was an RAF Y-station Secret Intelligence Service and German telephony communications base during the war.

RAF Leighton Buzzard was a major base for the RAF's secret communication traffic.

Tried a simple name search but no result.

Have ordered : Our Wartime Days: The WAAF Paperback – 1 April 2009 by Escott, for some background but will keep this in mind. this would seem to get to the heart of my query so I've ordered a copy. Thanks for the tip.

Today discovered a photo (photographer "Bacon - Leighton Buzzard") sent "to my dear granny" by my Aunt is which she is wearing her WAAF Service Uniform with RAF Eagle on the shoulder (worn by men and women), brass buttons and I understand the arm badges shown mean:
 
Propeller: Rank - Leading AirCraftWoman (LACW) and the
Fist and Sparks badge which indicates her trade/specialization is that of a "wireless (which included radar) operators trade badge".
