Hi Garland

Some family researchers have this marriage for him:

Herbert G Thomson and Beti Evans-Tomlinson (also indexed as Beti Evans and Beti E Tomlinson)
Kensington 1950, ref 5c/2808.

At leasts one daughter from the marriage (1959-2005). On birth index, mother's maiden name showing as Evans.

Beti died on 26 November 1991 on the Isle of Wight (from the Probate Calendar entry for her). From her death indexed entry, her date of birth is showing as 4 July 1915 (not seeing her entry on the birth indexes with that date. Closest is one in 3rd Qrt 1913 in West Ham).

There was a previous marriage for Herbert Guy Thomson. His wife Janet's death was mentioned in the Banbury Guardian on 17 March 1949:

One of his WW1 Medal Card images indicated he served in Mesopotamia. I'm trying to locate the record again. Haven't found his service record yet, but it may not exist anymore.
