Possibly a song's lyrics?

Hi folks.

This is a screenshot of the dedication page of a book of poems started by a 12 year-old relative in 1834.

I can work out "To ______ Daughter. From her father

Lovely babe, I welcome thee,
Bright thy life and _____ be."

I've tried searching these words and I'm wondering if they might have been the lyrics of a song. If anyone can help I'll be very grateful.

Bright thy life  (Is it 'and' or 'not' I wonder?) be.

Can't think what the second gap would be at all.      :-\

I think the mystery word has a B it.
Something like "Bright thy life and emblazoned be"?

I think it is brighten rather than bright. I think the first word could be sunbeam and the second beauteous.

I thought sunbeam too (for the gap word) - but couldn't seem to see the sense of it if that were the word. 

I do think the first word of the second line is bright.

I agree , . . . and in fact wrote in answer 1 -  (truly - I did!  :) . . . but then in copying it over I left out that bit  -  silly me! )
