John j calkins
« on: Thursday 30 September 21 21:52 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am looking for a John j calkins he was a Sgt in world war 2 in a Japanese prison camp serial 6382606 in the coast artillery corp.

I am trying to find out more info on him as I have found a grave for a John j calkins born 1907 and died 1958. He married a taggart at some point but I can't seem to find it, this would have been in Massachusetts

Thanks

Blair

Have you checked the various US censuses?  If he was born 1907 he should be on the 1910

Wife was Phyllis according to

Tree on Ancestry - She was Phyllis Maria King b 1926 died 2005

In your earlier thread you said he was b 1920 but in this one 1907

How do you know he married a Taggart?  In your other post you say your father was surname Taggart & Calkins was his godfather but why does that indicate that Calkins married a Taggart?

I have asked the moderator to merge your 2 posts to prevent further duplication of info
