Looking for info: Margaret Williams c1904 Trelawnyd Flintshire
« on: Friday 01 October 21 20:21 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I'm looking for info on Margaret Williams? There is little info on her online but she was born in 1904 and lived in Trelawnyd before moving to Urmston. Would love to know a little more about her so I can give my gran some info on her family :)

Thanks,
H :)

Do you have the marriage cert for Margaret to confirm her father's name & occupation? Or her birth certificate?

There is this Margaret on the 1911 census

Hiya, thank you! I don't have her birth certificate because it got lost when a relative moved, but I think her dad's name was William Williams.

well, that could be the correct family. You can use the reference to order a copy of the certificate.

Who did she marry? When & where? The parish record, if there is one, may be online.

William and Jane had 2 children that died young.

Gladys baptized 21 August 1898 died 1902. There is a memorial at St Michael's Church
(on 1901 census age 2)
William Edward baptized 22 November 1896, buried 2 November 1897 St Michael's

This collates with 1911 information of married 17 years, 6 children, 4 living, 2 deceased

Notes
James Owen baptized 1 September 1895
Mary Ellen baptized 4 November 1900

that 1893 marriage is at the right time, but the ages are out. On the parish entry Jane is 23 & William 24. On the 1901 census Jane is 36 & William 46. Also, not finding either Jane or William with the named father from the entry.

But there is this possible 1881 census for William with father William and brother James O - James Owen on other records.

Baptism 17 June 1854 Newmarket/Trelawdyn William son of William, miner, and Mary Williams of Newmarket.
Birth reg june qtr 1854 Holywell vol 11b pg 263 mmn Jones.
